EXPLORE THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN PHOTOGRAPHY WITH NIKON AT 2009 PHOTOPLUS EXPO

Nikon to Present Full Line of Esteemed Imaging Solutions, Including the New Nikon D300S and D3S, COOLPIX S70, and S1000pj and a Stellar line-up of Presenting Photographers

MELVILLE, N.Y. —

Nikon Inc. announced today the showcasing of its entire line of industry-leading imaging solutions and accessories at the 2009 PhotoPlus Expo from Thursday, October 22 through Saturday, October 24 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. Attendees visiting the Nikon booth will experience the latest imaging products first-hand and can attend inspirational presentations from top photographers in Nikon's Learn & Explore Theatre. New this year, show attendees will be able to access a mobile application from Nikon to help better manage their schedule and gather product and booth information. Adding to the excitement, Nikon will also be raffling off original signed prints from all the presenting photographers, as well as a super-prize package that includes a Vespa S50 scooter, a D5000 D-SLR outfit and COOLPIX S70 touch screen compact digital camera.

Show attendees will have the opportunity to try out Nikons full line of imaging products, including the latest High Definition Movie enabled digital SLR's, the high performance D300S and the groundbreaking D3S. Also on display will be the full line of legendary NIKKOR lenses, Nikon Capture NX2 imaging software and COOLSCAN desktop digital film scanners. Nikon will also showcase its entire line of COOLPIX compact digital cameras, including a theatre-on-the-go demonstration of the COOLPIX S1000pj -- the world's first digital camera with a built-in projector, and the ultra-stylish COOLPIX S70 touch camera.

In addition to all of the latest imaging products, the Nikon Learn & Explore Theatre will host presentations throughout each show day from highly respected professional photographers, showcasing their amazing work. Some of the Nikon photographers presenting at the booth include National Geographic photographer James Balog, Sports Illustrated shooter Robert Beck, photographer, editor and educator Scott Kelby, commercial photographer Sandro Miller and extreme adventure shooter Corey Rich. This year Nikon is introducing the Nikon 2009 PhotoPlus Mobile App featuring enhanced content about Nikon's PhotoPlus booth.
