Interact with some of the most innovative filmmakers in the wedding industry as they show how they craft stories that dazzle clients and teach how to bring out genuine emotions to create truly memorable films.
Learn through immersive demonstrations, talks and hands-on shoots. Your instructors will guide demonstrations across a variety of scenarios including bride and groom prep, first look, ceremony, reception and more. You’ll also learn how to work better with photographers, strengthen your communication with couples and choose the right gear and settings for the moment.
Hear expert perspectives on career success, artistic fulfillment and making your clients happy. Attend panel discussions and participate in Q&A sessions with experts that address the important questions you might have.
Even if you don’t shoot Nikon gear, you can meet with Nikon product specialists to learn more about camera settings, workflow, file management and connectivity. And there will be a variety of Nikon cameras and lenses available to use during the hands-on shoots.
This is a unique opportunity to develop relationships in the wedding community. During the workshop, you’ll network closely with fellow wedding filmmaker attendees, expert instructors and Nikon specialists.

This workshop is ideal for any filmmaker or videographer looking for new inspiration, skills and perspectives to apply to creating wedding films. Filmmakers of all skill levels will benefit from attending the workshop. We strongly recommend you have experience in both video production and gear.
Over the course of the workshop, you will experience expert-led and hands-on demonstrations on various aspects of the wedding day. This includes storytelling techniques, key shots, composition, lighting, equipment proficiency, post-production workflows and color grading.
Day One, Tuesday 3PM – 10PM Pacific Time
Day Two, Wednesday 7:30AM - 9PM Pacific Time
Day Three, Thursday 8AM - 5:30PM Pacific Time
The schedule introduces a variety of opportunities to learn and advance your wedding filmmaking. This includes live presentations from the instructors at a real cinema on day one, live wedding demonstrations across the resort on day two, and workflow sessions & keynote speakers on day three.
No. This workshop is for filmmakers of all levels and styles, regardless of what gear you use. There will be Nikon cameras and lenses available for you to use throughout the hands-on portions of the workshop.
We encourage you to bring your own CFexpress (Type B) memory cards. While not required, you may also want to bring ND filters with step up rings, a laptop, hard drive, and gimbal.
Your registration fee provides all access for one attendee to the workshop. This includes admittance to the welcome reception, a selection of hands-on sessions, meals, a cash bar cocktail party and gear to try out from Nikon. Hotel, flights and airport transfers are not included.
We will provide dinner on day one, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day two and breakfast and lunch on day three. Alcoholic beverages are not included.
No. There are many hotel options in the surrounding area. All workshop events will take place at the Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa in Henderson, NV, which is about a 30-minute drive southeast of the historic Las Vegas strip.
