The Marketing Communication Specialist will support the team in all efforts to help strengthen the Nikon brand through various marketing communications campaigns and programs designed to increase awareness, demand generation, engagement, and revenue.


Role
Social Media, Influencers & PR

  • Support the creation of engaging organic and paid content for social media
  • Analyze social media content across platforms, develop & share insights
  • Assist in planning and reviewing influencer programs and content
  • Monitor media coverage and assist in analyzing and summarizing media coverage

 

Advertising

  • Support in developing and managing advertising campaigns
    • Writing and presenting advertising creative briefs
    • Reviewing and sharing design and copy feedback
    • Becoming familiar with media landscape, campaign goals and performance metrics
  • Assist with measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and providing data driven insights to optimize campaign performance

 

Events

  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies in organization and execution of promotional events including photo walks, workshops, influencer events and trade shows (must be able to travel occasionally)

 

Research & Reporting

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and relevant news while keeping internal stakeholders informed

 

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate with agency and internal teams to arrange, process and track all consignments related to media, influencers and events
  • Additional administrative support as needed, such as scheduling meetings, ordering and shipping products, etc.,
  • Support the team and agency partners with invoicing and budget tracking

 

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, creative services, planning and sales
  • Collaborate with external partners and agencies as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing preferred
  • 2-5 year’s experience in Marketing Communications related roles including advertising, social media, influencer marketing, events and PR.
  • Must be willing to learn and become a subject matter expert in imaging products
  • A curious, self-starter with a love for learning, thoughtful and collaborative spirit, and a desire to create a positive experience.
  • Ability to build and manage trusting, communicative and successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in or managing an agency
  • Excellent organizational skills and professionalism—can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment, adapt projects and workflows as needed, anticipate challenges, and proactively keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical skills
  • Creative, out of the box thinker
  • Comfortable within the Microsoft suite
  • Familiar with the digital landscape
  • Strong familiarity with the following social media platforms and various content styles: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Reddit
  • General understanding of the Marketing Communications landscape

Compensation depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to; knowledge, skills, experience, education and location. The range for this position is $67,500- $94,500 annually.
