Movie Mode

Many COOLPIX cameras offer movie mode, which records sound movie clips at varying resolution and frame rates, depending on the particular model.
Within Movie Mode, there is a time-lapse feature for the capture of sequences of single frames at interval rates ranging from 30 seconds to 60 minutes. When the sequence is completed, the camera automatically compiles the images into a flip-book-like, stop-action movie.
