Overall Responsibility
Responsible for revenue attainment and P&L accountability for assigned territory/customers. In charge of developing sales and marketing strategies and business plans for Nikon Photo products in Latin America. Develop sales programs for all assigned channels of distribution and manage key relationships with distributors and retail partners. Understand the changes to the marketplace and industry and adjust plans accordingly. Keep General Manager of Latin America informed of sales and marketing activities and developments.Key Areas of Responsibility
- Formulate and execute business plan to develop and expand market penetration of DSLR, CDSC, lenses and accessories in assigned territories.
- Develop strategic marketing plans in conjunction with the Sr Strategic Marketing Communications manager.
- Monitor and analyze customer forecasts and sales data against budget, market and/or import data to determine sales performance, market share, and identify areas of growth.
- Evaluate competitive activities to determine impact on market, and develop business scenarios to identify opportunities and threats.
- Monitor inventory levels of all products against aggregated forecast and recommend modifications to product purchases and/or local kit production.
- Allocate strategically constrained products based on individual in-country promotions, advertising schedules and other commitments.
- Participate in the development of the annual budget and budget revisions.
- Collaborate with credit department to establish adequate credit terms for customers based on forecasts.
- Establish and maintain high-level business relationships with customers.
- Develop end of life scenarios and negotiate transitions with customers.
Ancillary Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Legal departments to resolve issues pertaining to Latin American business.
- All other duties as required or needed.

- Ability to Travel U.S. domestic and international
Education, Skills & Experience
- BA or BS degree, MBA preferred
- Ability to fluently speak and write in Spanish required, knowledge of Portuguese preferred
- Minimum 6 years international sales and marketing experience in a multi-national corporation
- Minimum 4 years experience successfully managing major accounts, including retailers and distributors
